Pursue Your Continuing Recovery
Outpatient treatment from The Pointe Malibu Recovery Center reflects our complete continuum of care philosophy. It represents the next step in your recovery process, following an initial period of time in one of our residential programs or at another treatment center. This coordinated approach has proven to be a real asset in supporting clients’ long-term recoveries.
Our Outpatient Options
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
- Transitional Living
Partial Hospitalization Program
This highly effective program enables you to reside at home while commuting to our outpatient therapy in Malibu CA, up to seven days a week. Designed to help you avoid or reduce in-patient hospitalization, our Partial Hospitalization Program involves both group and individual therapy, as well as pharmacological assessment and, if applicable, skill-building.
Intensive Outpatient Program
You can schedule both individual and group sessions, 3-5 days per week, depending on their availability. Our Intensive Outpatient Program is built around Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Primary areas of focus are:
- Substance Use
- Chronic Pain
- Process Addictions
- Interpersonal Effectiveness
- Emotional Regulation
- LGBTQ+ Affirmative Issues
A Program That’s Right for You
As an outpatient of The Pointe Malibu, you can work with our Director of Outpatient Services to develop a program of individual and group sessions to meet your specific needs. All client treatment plans will be reviewed and monitored by our Clinical Director. You always have the option to convert your Intensive Outpatient Program or Outpatient Services to higher levels of care, should you require increased support. For many clients, we also recommend transitional living accommodations. The Pointe Malibu Outpatient Drug Rehab’s outpatient programs are offered at our Beach House Center for Wellness in Malibu.
Whichever route you take, you can be certain that we will address your situation with thoroughness, competence, and compassion. Even as an outpatient, you are always part of our inner family circle.
